Appointments - Manuel Rolland appointed Preligens software manager
Manuel Rolland, (SCIA, 2009) joins Preligens as Software Director at the beginning of this year.
Since 2009, he has worked for Aldebaran, the French company that became SoftBank Robotics after its takeover by the Japanese group.
Manuel Rolland was in charge of software development for the humanoid robots NAO and Pepper.
He now joins Preligens, a company developing "Pioneering AI technology for a safer world". He reports directly to Pascal Lecuyot, Vice President Software. He is in charge of the teams responsible for developing satellite image processing software. In particular, his mission is to steer the industrialization of the existing software suite, to enable it to efficiently process ever-increasing quantities of images.
